Partnerships, sponsors and supporters are vital for maintaining and developing Glasgow Women's Library.
The Library receives funding from many different sources, most of which is for use by particular projects within the Library. Income generated by membership, donations and services such as the research consultancy are still vital in covering our day-to-day running costs.
Gallery of Modern Art Glasgow: a representative of the Library is currently on the Advisory Board of the Rule of Thumb season.
Scottish Parliament Library: Glasgow Women's Library is the first independent Library to have linked library status with the Scottish Parliament's Library.
The Genesis project: Genesis is a mapping initiative, funded by the Research Support Libraries Programme to identify and develop access to women's history sources in the British Isles. The database holds descriptions of women's history collections from libraries, archives and museums from around the British Isles.
Many individuals support the Library's work through standing orders, donations and Gift Aid. Find out more about how you can support the Library here.
