1998: Lesbian Line Training
By the 1990s, the services available for lesbians in Glasgow had expanded beyond the occasional women-only disco and were aimed more at emotional support.
The lesbian line that is run in conjunction with Strathclyde Gay & Lesbian Switchboard provides the lesbian and bi women community with a listening ear, information and contacts. It is run by trained volunteers.
