Two films about feminism by culturally diverse young women.
Fresh, funny, powerful and informative take on the meaning of feminism for young women today. The films chart the journey of women uncovering the histories of women's liberation in Glasgow Women's Library and other places, and through discussions with women including feminist author Beatrix Campbell.
Made by culturally diverse young filmmakers working with Pilton Video and the Library, and launched to acclaim at the Edinburgh Filmhouse, this is the first Glasgow screening. Essential, inspiring viewing for young people and those who work with them.
The screenings will be followed by a question and answer session with some of the filmmakers.
This is a free, ticketed event. Please contact the Library to book tickets.
