If you have not studied for a while, why not start with an Openings course to build your study skills. They are also an interesting way to find out which subject is the right one for you. Studying an Openings course will give you the chance to try out supported study with the Open University. You can work on your study skills (such as essay-writing, planning your time and taking notes), build up your confidence, get a taste of your chosen subject and decide what you want to study in the future.
More information about Openings at Glasgow Women's Library.
The Lifelong Learning team are introducing a range of "Have a Go" courses: one-off taster workshops in a range of areas from music to comedy and more. We are always keen to hear about what you would like from us, so why not contact us to say what you would like to "have a go" at.
Don't forget the GWL has many other things to offer including support with reading, writing and numbers, chronicling women's Migration Histories and much more.
All events are free. To book a place or for more information about these events and courses, please contact the Library.
