As part of Glasgow's West End Festival this summer, Women Make History presents the West End Women's Heritage Walk.
Following it's success last year, this pioneering women's heritage event, developed by the Women Make History group based at Glasgow Women's Library, this walk reveals a hidden history of the West End of Glasgow: pipe-smoking forewomen, revolting schoolmistresses, and the unique car made by and for women.
A unique and inspiring insight into the hitherto unsung women who made the west end.
The Walk will be running twice during the Festival:
2pm, Sunday 22 June 2008 &
2pm, Sunday 29 June 2008
Ticket Price: £6.50. Tickets for both tours are available from Barretts Newsagents, Byres Road (near Hillhead Underground Station), only.
