Volunteer at GWL
Some women choose to donate their time, energy and expertise to the Library. Glasgow Women’s Library has always grown with the support of volunteers, and women with knowledge of archiving, databases, D.I.Y. and design all regularly offer their expertise.
We will be posting requests for volunteers with specific skills or for specfic tasks in the section below. If you would like to be contacted about other ways that you can support our work, or would like to be mailed with information about volunteering at GWL, please contact us. Work Placements
If you are looking for information on placements, internships or secondments please contact us. Recent and ongoing placement partnerships have included Athena (Italy), Centrum Praw Kobiet (Poland), the Asylum Seeker and Refugee Time Bank (Glasgow), and Glasgow University.
